Press Notice – Taster Day and Launch of Regional IFPA Group, 28.04.07

Valley Therapists are a recently formed association of complimentary therapists. We are based throughout the Calder and Worth Valleys.

We will shortly provide respite care / therapies for carers in the community.

On 28.04.07 we are hosting a taster day at the Holme Street Arts Centre, next to the post office in Hebden Bridge. We are open to the public from 10.00 to 14.00. There will be a donations box on the door.

Everyone is welcome to come along and find out more about how complimentary therapies can help cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life. And if you have time why not try one of our free sessions in:

 Hand and Arm Massage
 Hopi Ear Candling
 Hypnotherapy
 Reflexology
 Reiki
 Swedish Massage

Tea and coffee will be on sale at a low price. We will also have a small display of sample products, some of which will be for sale.

Additionally at 15.00 we are launching a new regional group of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).

We encourage IFPA members from the surrounding areas who have difficulty in attending other regional groups to come along and help shape an exciting new group. This first meeting will focus on meeting one another and drawing up our constitution.

The fair on the 28th April went well, and was enjoyed by all. We are hoping to run another one in November, and will publish details here as soon as a date has been finalised.
